Cherished family & friends,
Maligayang Pasko, (Merry Christmas in Tagalog) does not roll easily out of our mouths. But it is easy to love our Filipino 'siblings' and shepherd the participants in the education program.
The blessings of serving a senior mission in the year 2011 are vast.
~ When g'baby Slater was born in August, we saw and heard him on Skype!
~ When the Gerber family was sealed in September, we were there!
~ When Carolyn's dad died in November, we emailed, facebooked and phoned Mom & family.
~ When challenging news hit our family last week, we have consoled one another daily.
Always the Good Shepherd lovingly, patiently, tenderly guides us. We follow Him. We represent him. We love him.
