It was a wonderful, relaxing Easter weekend.

I wish you all could say the same. But I doubt it because your nests are still full of life; with busy young adults, terrific teenagers, fabulous tweens, precocious littles and/or the pitter/patter of little feet.
Having an empty nest is either something you dread or anticipate. Survive and thrive as best you can in each stage.
And be grateful that this momma wants to be around you forever. I thank Jesus for providing hope that this is possible. One day death will die!!! And I will hug my dad, my nephews Christopher & Nathan and grandson Dillon again🥰

Greetings! It’s been a rarefied week in Ohio, outside the city of Cincinnati, in the Suburb of Maineville, at the home of the Robison family.
Jami (my youngest)~ Chris ~ Danika ~ Kamden
Jami is a SAH mother, an organizer extraordinaire and a substitute teacher 👩🏻🏫. She appreciates punctuality, enjoys travel 🌎 and is a great baker of cookies 🍪!
Chris is a fun dad, a laid-back SIL, a fixer-upper, a helicopter 🚁 pilot and manager of his hospital 🏥 base.
Danika turned 8, had a puppy 🐶 party, takes gymnastics 🤸🏽♀️ , likes to sing 🎵 , loves crafts and thinks Helen Keller 😎 is cooler than G’ma 😳.
Kamden is 6 yo, loves hot dogs 🌭 , plays soccer ⚽️, likes baths 🛀🏾, wears fake lenses to kindergarten and holds still only to sleep😉.
This trip was a surprise visit for the kids. Danika & I decorated her cookie cake, did crafts, colored, played Dr Mario and I was the mystery reader for her class (Jami was her sub!)
Doctor K amputated my arms, legs and torso but he gave me a shot first so I was good. Next he shredded my parts and had ‘Chase’ lick my face. Sweet kid. I taught him to play ‘fox & geese’.
It was prime time granma time for 7 days.
I’m home Tuesday evening.

Alright. We’ve been home 2 weeks but wanted to share one last wrap-up from S.A. and a summary since we’ve been home.
4th - We woke at 4 am and eagerly packed up our tent and began the last long drive day back to ‘Joburg’. These pics are of some animal sightings as we left Kruger NP. 5th - Flights home were unexpectedly full or delayed, missing connections, hassled at immigration, detouring thru London, landing in SLC late on the 6th.
6th - elated to be home, visited my mother, got a haircut.
Planned 2 upcoming family gatherings.
12th - Celebration of Lane’s 76th birthday 🥳
17th - St Patrick’s Day dinner 🍀
