Happy 25th anniversary to us! All year long we have been saying "This is our anniversary trip!" It happened when we flew to Orlando in May. Then again during our private safari in Tanzania. Next, we spent a month in the heart of London. Then onto Croatia, Turkey and finally Austria. We would decide that wherever we were THAT was our anniversary celebration. Much to our surprise and the shock of our family, our month in Vienna came to an abrupt halt when we ran out of enthusiasm for travel. Meredith had left on Thursday morning the 21st. On Friday evening I began planning a bus trip into Slovakia for the 23rd. Lane said let's just fly home tomorrow. So we did! 10 days early. We walked away from prepaid rent, transportation passes, a refrigerator full of meals and took a train to the airport early enough to get a Covid test on site. So, we actually arrived back in South Jordan on the eve of our anniversary.

National Museums, St Charles Cathedral, "The Kiss", Rathaus City Hall, the colorful & unique Hundertwasserhaus (all in Vienna).
Matthias Church in Buda (west part of Budapest), view from Buda Castle across the Danube to the city of Pest where we tried and loved Hungarian Goulash and chimney cones. The photo in between is taken during a road trip into Germany to see Lake Königssee and eat crepes.

1) there’s no dust gathering on our shoes
