The days keep running out before my to-do list. But what’s new?
I painted, temple-ed, watered, ‘play’ed with Ret, melted popsicles, and picked up trash apples.
Also, the regular…pickleball, movies, homemaking, doodling, crushing summer!

To the coolest kids!!! I Wish your remaining summer days are filled with endless ice cream cones, bottomless shaved ice, plenteous popsicles and abundant shade.
Our week:
Lane had successful surgery to complete his DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) procedure. In 2 weeks the implant system will be flipped on. He will attend clinic meetings with his team to learn the results of the surgery.
Yesterday I strolled through a few open houses in the newly built upper Daybreak villages. I joined Lincoln, Carrie and Luke Howell. Good times.

I enjoy assembling hundreds of irregularly shaped interlocking pieces 🧩!
Today was the highlight of my week. I was back in primary today!…as the 🎵singing time sub, standing in for Sister Clemen. It was so much fun. We scooped a giant pretend ice cream cone as we sang. One child asked “why not use real ice cream?” I told them they could knock on Sister Clemen’s door next week, give the password “scriptures” and she’d give them the real deal 🍦. J/K🤣
Afterward I still had time to join my nursery class and lead the weekly singing time there. Loved it!!!
Carrie Howell’s mail sometimes shows up in my US POB. But this is the first time I received a piece for Katherine Howell. Who is she? Katherine Howell married KC Bell 15 years ago!!!
