WEEK 2 ~ 5/13/2018
Hi, How B U?
Seven day summary…
1) FHE ultimate 7-topping scones with Bullocks.
2) I met Benjamin James Hill, our first great-grandson! Born May 2nd.
3) My brother Curtis stopped by to make improvements to CarLa.
4) Advance Mother’s day lunch with my mother. Here’s proof that she’s an angel. What a glow!!!
5) Isaac turned 6 surrounded by chums and family.
6) 8 year old Raylie opens her hatchimal cheese’cake’. Yum!
7) Today is the day I celebrate being a mother. I couldn’t be more grateful for this blessing. Happy day to all mom’s.
8) Most of you have already heard that 2 weeks ago Lane fractured his tailbone in a wet and rocky slot canyon. He’s seen a spine specialist, had x-rays and receives an injection tomorrow. We attended one hour of church today and came home to rest.
Church talk notes from Hope: “My mother is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. If there were only dads in the world we’d all be in trouble.” (Like we’d all be non-existent!) And “Guys, you have to be blessed with the priesthood but girls are all just born with our qualities.” (Hope is overflowing with self-esteem.)
It’s a quiet day as Lane recovers now from additional flu-like symptoms.
Coming this week:
My momma is “83” on the 19th.
Stephanie Hill’s birthday is Saturday.
Amanda turns 13 next Sunday.
WEEK 3 ~ 5/20/2018
“Hosanna" Household Heirs ~
1) I humbly express my adoration, praise and joy. This very day the Jordan River Temple was rededicated. Temples are proof that God loves us. Inside time seems to stand still, the pressures of the world disappear and feelings of His peace are abundant.
2) Last week we watched Isaac doing silly dwarf dancing. His kindergarten days are nearly through.
3) My momma turned 83 yesterday. Charla, my older sister, has hosted a tea party to celebrate every year since mom was 80. This year I was in town to attend. The doll my mother is holding is 150 years old and belonged to my great grandmother.
4) Amanda became a teenager TODAY! She shared this delicious cheesecake with me. Also, the Bells commemorate 9 years of marriage TODAY!
5) Caden works tomorrow (his real birthday) so his 20th b-day was celebrated today. Steph pointed out that for a few hours the Bullock family includes 4 teenagers. If I were to caption this pic it would be “DENIED”. It was a valiant effort Caden, but that corner candle was stubborn.
This coming week:
21st The Bullocks have a TWENTY YEAR OLD son!
22nd Rockwell celebrates year 7
22nd Samuel Lane turns 37
23rd Lane & I test for our motorcycle licenses. Say a prayer for me ;o}
25th-29th We take a Memorial Day weekend RV trip with the Scotts
26th Rayson will baptize Raylie
27th Kylie will be 18
WEEK 4 ~ 5/27/2018
Hello once again,
1) Exciting news. Stalwart grandson Joseph opened his mission call to Arcadia California!!! He reports to the MTC on August 15th. How did I miss posting this earlier??? My bad. Joseph is 5th in a sibling line of standout Hill missionaries.
2) Monday 5/21- dance concert for the 3 oldest Gerber girls. They all performed spectacularly!
3) We passed our motorcycle road tests!
4) Wednesday 5/23 - Matthew & Josh graduated from Hawthorn Academy.
5) Lane continues to receive physical therapy and heal from his injury. He’s doing better every day!
6) Friday 5/25 - We headed out for an RV/camping trip with Randi & Roy. Memorial Day weekend, Deer Creek State Park.
(what the heck with my neck?)
7) Saturday 5/26 - We broke from camping to support Raylie on her baptism day (she was lucky to have a font with hot tub temperatures). Rayson did an excellent job performing his first baptism and confirmation ordinance. Raylie had so many wonderful supporters, including the Hansen’s who drove down from Seattle. Callie pulled it all together. We are so proud of Raylie for following Jesus’ example.
8) Congrats Cav’s fans (myself included). Go Houston!
This coming week:
27th - Kylie is 18 TODAY!
28th - Memorial Day…remember those who sacrificed so we may enjoy our freedoms.
29th - We return from the Great Scott camping trip.
30th - Emy graduates from Elementary school.
31st - We leave on a trip with the Kelley family.
June 1st - Priesthood commemoration broadcast “Be One”.
We welcome feedback and sharing of events.
Because we love you forever!
