Randi & Roy Wed

HAPPY WEDDING DAY

Roy Scott and Randi Jill Howell
Wednesday, June 5th, 2013

Draper Utah Temple

It began far, far away and long, long ago.  Randi and Roy met and dated in 2008.  Randi returned from her LDS mission in August 2012.  In December 2012 Roy called Lane while we were in the Philippines and asked for Randi's hand in marriage.  Sweet.  At Randi's invitation Carolyn participated in planning the luncheon, flowers and decorations for the reception.

For example, these 'cootie catchers' were designed in the Philippines, emailed to Stephanie, printed, cut and folded.  Table favors were planned, shopping list sent to Jami, purchases made and assembled.

We returned from our mission June 1st,
10 days early to attend the wedding,
held on the 5th so Randi and Roy
can join us on the trip to China, June 8th.
Simple.  Got it?

Planning parties were held for 2 days.  June 3rd and 4th.
Many pitched in to get the job done.

Necklaces substituted for corsages with the help of Charla.

Paper folding helpers, Jamie and Erin.

The expert, Callie, put them together.

Even the guys got involved in a crafty project
to turn bottle caps into centerpiece mats.
(Taken as a dare from Randi.)

Erin took on another challenge of designing the Bride's bouquet.
