Summer times☀️. Good times 🫶🏻!

It’s all good…(except Lane’s ER visit with post op concern over a swollen jaw).

Dropped in 40 bags of gorgeous black mulch.

Lincoln & Carrie’s zinnias are breathtaking.

Mer, Mike and kids opted in for a pizza party, movie night and most slept over (missing pics of Terri & Kiersten😥)

🐝⚾️

We took in a picturesque night of baseball and family.  42!  The jersey number of legendary player Jackie Robinson AND the exact number of family members who could join us!  Lucky!

I felt uncomfortable driving into a cemetery recently. My GPS blurted out “you have reached your final destination.” 😱

It’s kept me on my toes. In my final quarter I am trying to build my faith and devotion as I show love to God by following His commandments and show love to others through service and kindness. I desire my heart and mind to be turned to Jesus and outward towards others. Keep me in line, K?!!!

July 31st ~ Lane Howell has DBS surgery part 2.  The lead lines placed in his brain 2 weeks ago will be extended and connected to a battery and control device placed in his chest.

Hi folks👋🏻

One thing was foremost on our minds this week; brain 🧠 surgery for Lane. 

Wednesday ~ Part 1 of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). 
Thursday ~ home for continued recovery. 
Friday to Present ~ managing headaches with ES Tylenol 💊 , rest 😴 and modest doses of political news🤣. 

Contrast: The Bullocks throw a very nice dinner party🥳. On the other hand it’s tough to stay awake at our place😞. 

My mother likes to have her backyard fencing clear of the neighbors climbing vines. She offers all-u-can-eat ‘creamies’ as appreciation.

Deep thoughts:
-Hold on. Let me overthink this🤪.
-Thinking is difficult🤯, that’s why most people judge.
-A fool is known by speech and wise man by silence😉. 
-The quieter you become the more you are able to hear🫢. 

So. Do not overthink. Do not under-think😉. Know when to be silent. And listen.

Good morning, good afternoon, goodnight. Another week of wakeups. 

~ all ages enjoy Lane’s new ‘toy’.
~ Armand Howell’s funeral doubled as the 2024 Howell Reunion.  (Armand is Lane’s oldest nephew, age 63
~ the cactus 🌵 mural is all dried up😉! 
~ after a 37-year sabbatical I’m serving children in nursery again🥰. 

A sweater I bought was picking up static electricity so I returned it.
They gave me a new one free of charge🤣

I don’t have bad handwriting. I have my own font. 

Make good choices. Floss. Have a glorious week!

🍉 Summertime and the living is easy☀️

~ I packed up my ‘singing time’ 🎶 supplies (which included cleaning the kazoos) and passed them along. 

~ Monument Valley was thrilling🏜️🌵☀️. It was our 5th trip!  (Jami, Randi & X, do you remember horseback riding with us in 2003?)

~ Lincoln is my hero! The 🇺🇸 flys again!!!

~ Picnics rule!

~ Our first great-granddaughter Hailee Hill was baptized and confirmed by her daddy. Nicely done, Darren!

~ sometimes, not often, you meet someone who leaves an impression that never fades. You, our family members, are those people!!! …And so are the Browns, dear friends from Miami. 

~ Most of my family of origin gathered Sunday.
